How Long Should You Hold Stocks?

This is also a question that new traders ask a lot. The answer is based on a number of things such as your risk appetite, your trading goals, your time frame, the strategy you are trading etc.

There is really now one right answer but if there was to be a “right answer” it would be: hold it for as long as it takes you to make a profit without exposing yourself to outsized risk.
